Legal Registration
Registered under Clinical Establishments Act (CEA) or state equivalent. Trade license and GST registration required. Partnership/proprietorship/company — all accepted.
Minimum Operational Period

Quality Accreditation
NABL accreditation unlocks the higher rate slab (+15–25%). ISO 15189 or equivalent is the minimum preferred standard. Non-accredited labs can still apply but receive base rates.
Qualified Technical Staff
MD Pathology or equivalent for pathology labs. MSc Biochemistry + PG diploma for biochemistry-only labs. Lab technicians must hold DMLT/BMLT certificates.
Adequate Equipment

Check Current Empanelment Notice
CGHS invites applications through zonal notices (published on cghs.gov.in and in newspapers). Applications are accepted only during open windows — watch your zone's CGHS office announcements. Applications outside windows are not processed.
