Home sample collection software, with an app your phlebotomists will actually use
ClinikPe Collect runs doorstep sample collection for Indian labs and collection centres. Bookings become jobs on a simple Android app built for basic phones, every tube is barcoded at the patient's home, and the web console shows each sample from doorstep to lab. Collectors who work for more than one lab see which lab every job belongs to.
- Built for low-cost Android phones and collectors more at home in Bengali or Hindi
- Barcode at the doorstep, with handover and lab-receipt times recorded
- Earnings for collectors, margin for centres, revenue for labs

Collection-centre owners

Phlebotomists
One app for the whole day, even across labs, with barcode scanning and a clear view of what you've earned.
How a home collection runs in ClinikPe Collect
From the booking to the report, every step leaves a record, so nobody has to chase anyone on the phone.
-
Booking
A patient books online, by phone or through a collection centre. The booking carries the address, time slot and tests.
-
Assignment
The console assigns the job to a collector, who sees it in the app with the lab's name and colour.
-
At the doorstep
The collector confirms the patient, draws the sample, scans or sticks a barcode on each tube and records any payment.
-
Handover
Samples are handed over and marked received at the lab, so delays and stability risks show up immediately.
-
Report and earnings
The report goes out on WhatsApp as usual, and the collector and centre see their completed jobs and earnings.
Good home collection protects the result
Most lab errors happen before the sample reaches the analyzer. At a patient's home there's no supervisor, so the routine has to be clear.
Order of draw for multiple tubes
- Blood culture bottles
- Citrate tube (light blue), for coagulation
- Serum tubes, with or without clot activator or gel (red, gold)
- Heparin tube (green)
- EDTA tube (lavender), for CBC and HbA1c
- Fluoride oxalate tube (grey), for glucose
Based on CLSI GP41. Follow your lab's SOP and tube manufacturer's instructions.
Confirm identity twice
Check name and a second identifier against the booking before drawing, and label tubes in front of the patient.
Respect fasting and timing
Note fasting status and collection time. Some tests, like fasting glucose and lipids, are only valid with the right preparation.
Mix gently, don't shake
Invert additive tubes gently the number of times the manufacturer specifies to avoid clots and haemolysis.
Transport upright and on time
Carry tubes upright in a closed box, away from direct sun, and get them to the lab quickly. Glucose falls in tubes without fluoride if delayed.
Record the handover
Every handover to the lab should have a time. That's how you find out which routes are too long.
